How Design Magazine and InSource (Association of In-House Corporate Creatives) are hosting a conference on in-house design team management called In-Howse Designer. The idea of InSource is to provide resources and conference for creative directors and decision makers. While more practical than academic, InHouse deals with the challenges of design departments are facing and viable solutions.
Chip Pearson will be addressing senior management communications in “financial speak,” with terms like ROI , P/L , EBITDA . Designers looking on how to talk in business terms about the return on investment (profitability, productivity, etc.) with regard to design might benefit.
Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago on October 29-31. Founders of InSource are Glenn Arnowitz and Andy Epstein, both who will be speaking at the conference.
